Writing manuals is tricky because some require intimate knowledge of the product/service. There are a lot of different types of manuals from How-To do something to Instructional step-by-step procedures; Best Practices, Operations, Sales Training, Employee manuals, and many others as well.

If you have a need for any type of manual or instructional pamphlet, contact me and let's discuss the scope of the project. I have written all of the above including Franchise Operations Manuals.

It isn't possible for me to provide samples of these documents since they were "living" documents (constantly changing) and highly proprietary and even confidential in some cases. Many times as is the case with living documents, you will require a systematic management of those documents that track revisions.

I do have some exclusions:

  • Highly technical manuals for the government
  • Procedural manuals for high engineering models and defense weaponry

Before you make a snap decision, let's discuss your business needs. If I am not qualified to write your manual, I may be able to recommend someone who can.
