Kimberly's story in the Tampa Bay Business Journal circa 1998, was her first news byline.

The story entitled Artists and Developers Remake Warehouse Area is about the initial redevelopment of Tampa's Channel District that now links to Downtown Tampa's chic Ybor City. The only thing in the district at the time was abandoned, ramshackle warehouses and the Florida Aquarium.

This story about the initial redevelopment of Tampa's Channel District was a precursor to downtown Tampa's booming economy... Boy, that was a long time ago! So long in fact, we did not have digitization! The only copy I have of that bygone time is a "Xeroxed" copy!

It is humbling to think at the time I did not know how to work sources, so it is one of the heaviest edited pieces I have ever done. Needless to say, I saw the error of my ways and learned how to do it correctly!
